Studio Policies

​

• A maximum of 5 make-up lessons is allowed per year. The student must notify the teacher 24 hours prior to the scheduled lesson for a make-up lesson to be arranged; the lesson is considered cancelled if the 24 hour notice is not provided, and the lesson fee is non-refundable or transferable.

• All lesson fees are paid before the first class of each month through e-transfer, cheque, or cash. 

​

• Cost of music books recommended by the teacher is covered by the student.

​

•  Canceled or missed lessons are non-refundable. 

​

• In the case of a student not being present at the time of the lesson, the teacher will wait for half the scheduled lesson length before leaving. If the student shows up during the time the teacher is waiting, the teacher will teach for the remainder of the lesson time. 

​

• If weather conditions obstruct the students' trip to the studio, the student would have the option to have an online lesson.

​

• When terminating lessons, a two-lesson notice must be provided. In other words, the student would have two more lessons after.

​

• An annual fee of $75 for one student would be charged in September of each year or upon registration. Each additional student from the same household would be subjected to an additional $30 per year.
